December 2 (Tue) – 5 (Fri), 2025
ICC JEJU, Jeju Island, Korea
As in previous years, the IEEE Transactions on Microwave Theory and Techniques (IEEE T-MTT) will publish a Special Issue devoted to the APMC 2025. Authors of all papers relevant to topics of interest of T-MTT presented at the APMC 2025 are invited to submit an expanded version of their papers to the Special Issue.
The expanded version requires that the new technical content includes a more in-depth treatment, new results beyond the APMC 2025 paper, or both. The authors should also take advantage of the reviewers’ recommendations/criticisms as well as the discussions generated at the APMC 2025, which may lead to possibly different results or interpretations. All the submitted papers will go through the standard peer-review process, which will be managed by the designated Guest Editor.
The submission deadline is March 31, 2026. Further details will be announced after the paper acceptance notification.
New this year, Special Issue of the IEEE Microwave and Wireless Technology Letters (MWTL) is planned for papers submitted to APMC. The details are as follows:
The top few percent of the papers submitted to APMC 2025 will be selected and recommended by the APMC committee based on their review scores. Authors of the selected papers will then be invited to submit their work to MWTL. Minimal additional modification on the papers may be required as the suggested page limit for the MWTL Special Issue is 3 pages of content plus up to 1 page for references, whereas the APMC papers are limited up to 3 pages.
Once submitted to the MWTL Special Issue, the papers will subsequently undergo the standard peer-review process, which will be managed by the designated Guest Editor. The review decisions for these papers will be finalized prior to the APMC conference. Accepted papers will be published in MWTL Special Issue instead of the APMC proceedings. Papers not accepted for MTWL Special Issue will be published in the regular APMC proceedings. In either case, all authors—regardless of the review outcome—are required to present their work at APMC as usual.
