Welcome to APMC 2025

On behalf of the organizing committee, it is my pleasure to welcome you to the 37th Asia-Pacific Microwave Conference (APMC), which will take place from December 2 to 5, 2025, at ICC JEJU in Jeju, Korea. Since its inception in 1986, APMC has been the premier microwave event in the Asia-Pacific region, rotating among over 10 countries for nearly 40 years. We are delighted to host APMC once again in Korea, following successful conferences here in 1995, 2003, and 2013.

We are confident that APMC 2025 will provide an excellent opportunity for researchers from both academia and industry to share their latest technical and scientific achievements in the frequency ranges of microwave, millimeter-wave, terahertz, and beyond. Additionally, it will foster strong networking among participants from around the globe. APMC 2025 will continue to fulfill its mission through plenary talks, invited talks, regular oral and poster sessions, and workshops.

We are equally excited to hold the conference on the beautiful island of Jeju, located at the southern tip of Korea. Known for its natural beauty, including the volcanic Mountain Halla and its lava-covered terrain surrounded by the sea, Jeju has been recognized by the titles of World Natural Heritage site, Global Geopark, and Biosphere Reserve. This island will provide an ideal setting for attendees to connect and network in a relaxed atmosphere.

We warmly invite you to attend and enjoy APMC 2025 in the beautiful island of Jeju.

Jae-Sung Rieh
General Chair, APMC 2025
